The opportunity
This is an opportunity to be involved in the delivery of major sports stadia
and associated projects in Saudi Arabia.
Project: Mace is currently bidding for this programme which will require high-
calibre and experienced people to lead teams throughout each phase of the
project.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with the client, main contractor and stakeholder.
* Creating clear and attainable project objectives and developing/ managing project requirements.
* Providing strategic support to the client and assisting in the management of technical reviews and design approvals, managing technical issues as they arise.
* Arranging acceptance and sign-off of design briefs.
* Coordinating, planning and managing internal and external meetings about the project.
* Managing change in an efficient manner and in accordance client governance process.
* Defining and managing the constraints of cost, time, scope and schedule whilst ensuring teams are adequately resourced.
* Establishing and implementing project procedures and processes with the client, project team organisation, reporting systems etc.
* Contributing to risk management and working with the project team to identify, schedule, and establish mitigation strategies for project risks.
* Inputting safety procedures into the design development process.
* Preparing the project quality plan and ensuring quality is integral to the development process.
* Developing and managing the procurement strategy.
About you
You have degree in engineering from an accredited university and be a member
of a professional body. You have experience in large-scale projects including
having overall responsibility for electrical engineering on largescale
projects, and a previous experience in sports stadium design, procurement, and
delivery.
You have knowledge of systems, calculations, equipment, applications of
methods, materials, and computers in the discipline. You have knowledge of
electrical engineering work planning and control methods. You have knowledge
of precedents in the discipline and of principles and practices of related
disciplines.
You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships, and support
strong, motivated teams. You will have a construction or project management
background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace
