‎2. OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:
The role holder is responsible for managing all the activities related to
the Contract Management function, including defining the service level
agreements for the services provided by the outsourcing party, validating the
outsourcing performance management reports, processing penalties and
incentives, incorporating adjustments to the SLAs, and processing contract
change, contract renewal and termination requests. The Manager: Contract
Management is the key to ensuring that the contracts deliver to the defined
KPIs and looks to continually improve performance. The responsibility also
includes reviewing the Contract Management reports as necessary to ensure
accuracy as well as developing the Contract Management budget as per the
defined processes and procedures.

‎3. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Qualification:
‎1. Bachelor level degree in ICT or Business Management from an
internationally recognized institution

‎2. Post graduate degree is preferred
‎3. ITIL certification or similar
Experience:
‎1. ‎8 - ‎10 years of experience in Contract Management or other relevant ICT
functional areas

‎2. Experience with large ERP systems such as Oracle
Skills:
‎1. Strong personal computer and business solutions software skills (e.g.
MS Office, MS Excel, MS Word)

‎2. Strong managerial and interpersonal skills for interacting with
Specialists, SVE partners, system integrators, Ma 'aden employees and upper
management

‎3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
‎4. Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
‎5. Good writing skills when dealing with colleagues within the ICT
function, Ma 'aden Employees, SVE partners and system integrators


‎4. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Legal:
‎1. Responsible for driving operational excellence within the entire Ma
'aden ICT organization

‎2. Review and approve the KPIs and associated KPI targets defined by the
Specialist: Contract Management for each service option included in the
Service Catalogue, after making necessary adjustments

‎3. Review and approve the SLA document prepared by the Specialist: Contract
Management, including the designed penalties and incentives

‎4. Validate the outsourcing performance management report shared by the
Outsourcing party against the defined SLA to identify variance and communicate
those results to the ICT Senior Management, prior to the Service Review
Meetings

‎5. Charge penalties or provide incentives to the outsourcing company based
on the decision of the ICT Senior Management in the Service Review Meetings

‎6. Review the adjusted SLA as per the agreement between Outsourcing Party
and ICT Senior Management in the Service Review Meetings

‎7. Obtain the required approvals on the adjusted SLAs from the ICT Senior
Management as well as the Outsourcing party and notify the relevant
stakeholders of the approved adjustments

‎8. Support the Specialist: Contract Management in assessing if the proposed
contract changes require changes to the service portfolio

‎9. Support the Specialist: Contract Management and the Procurement team to
develop contract amendments

‎10. Renegotiate the contract with the Outsourcing Party and review and sign
off on the renegotiated contract

‎11. Support the ICT Senior Management in determining if ICT is planning to
continue working with the existing outsourcing party

‎12. Renew the contract as per the decision of the ICT Senior Management
with the support of the Specialist: Contract Management and Procurement team

‎13. Develop the Contract Management budget and share with Director: Service
Management for consolidation

‎14. Monitor the Contract Management expenses against the approved budget
and investigate / justify significant variances

‎15. Monitor the existing ICT policies, procedures and systems and assist in
the development and implementation of new systems, policies and procedures to
meet changing requirements and future needs of the business

‎16. Contribute to the preparation of Contract Management related reports to
management, auditors, etc.

‎17. Resolve any issues escalated by the Specialist: Contract Management
regarding fulfilment of specific business needs

‎18. Ensure that the specific needs of the customers are catered to and
escalate any unresolved issues to Director: Service Management

Leadership
‎1. Contribute to a working environment and culture which engages all
Contract Management staff

‎2. Develop and coach the junior staff in order to retain and expand talent
through focused attention and effort

‎3. Ensure that the employees are adequately coached and trained in line
with requirements of their role

‎4. Contribute to the performance management and appraisal of employees and
ensure timeliness and fairness of process

‎5. Participate in the identification, assessment and recruitment of
potential employees

‎6. Monitor and push the Contract Management function to innovate, thereby
continually enhancing the quality and reducing cost by streamlining processes,
procedures and automation

‎7. Ensure adoption / compliance, where applicable, with world class trends
and best practices in Contract Management with the goal of ultimately driving
cost reduction and quality enhancement

‎8. Report to the Director: Service Management on a periodic basis key
operational KPIs

‎9. Submit to the Director: Service Management and above on a regular and ad
hoc basis input for business planning and operational improvements

‎2. Maintain healthy working environment within the team of Contract
Management Specialists

‎3. Coordinate / collaborate with the Specialists to resolve escalated
operational issues and deliver efficient services

‎4. Manage internal relationships regarding operational issues
‎5. Regularly oversee any relevant subordinate team staff for quality and
efficiency

‎6. Manage external relationships (SVE partners and system integrators)
regarding operational issues
