- Inspects, troubleshooting, repairs, adjusts, and maintains ground support
equipment used in direct aircraft support and overseeing support equipment
maintenance activities
- Perform scheduled maintenance on all energy-related powered and non-powered
equipment lifetime
- Troubleshoot and implement repairs at all powered and non-powered ages
- Implement corrosion control measures on all ground support equipment
- Provide receipt and delivery of ground support equipment to support flight
line maintenance
- Perform preventative maintenance to avoid operational failures of systems
- Make sure all equipment is serviceable at all times and ready to support
any requirement
- May drive and operate floodlight trucks at crashes or other emergencies
- May place warning flares about airfield during a power failure or emergency
- May be on constant call to make emergency repairs
