- Responsible for air conditioning systems, inspect and maintain, diagnose
electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions, performing regular
maintenance repairs, maintaining tools, ordering supplies, and making routine
adjustments to maximize operational efficiency.
- Identifying problems.
- Operation of the unit
- Diagnostic electrical and mechanical faults for all motorized GSE A/C and
ACU systems.
- Cleaning unit as required.
- Make sure the unit is serviceable and ready to use at all times.
- Listens to operating unit for indications of malfunction.
- Provide receipt and delivery of ground support equipment to support flight
line maintenance.
- May drive and operate floodlight trucks at crashes or other emergencies.
- May place warning flares about airfield during a power failure or
emergency.
- May be on constant call to make emergency repairs.
