Shift Supervisor (Instrumentation)
Qualification & Experience:
BE/BS in Instrumentation with 1-2 years' experience OR Diploma in
Instrumentation with 10 years ' experience in chemical / steel plant
Instrumentation.
Candidates not matching these criteria should not apply for this position.
Job skill requirements :
* Ability to handle breakdowns, preventive maintenance in running process plant.
* Troubleshooting skills in control & ON-Off pneumatic valves.
* Knowledge of fault finding in the process through DCS / PLC logics.
* Hands on experience in calibration, maintenance & troubshooting of transmitters, switches, control valves, Gas analyzers.
* Hands on experience in troubleshooting / maintenance of material handling instruments, belt weighscales, on-off valves, gas analyzer sampling systems.
* Understanding P & I diagrams, panel wiring diagrams, loop drawings.
* Knowledge of globe, ball, butterfly valves, pneumatic actuators, pressure regulating valves, ESD valves.
* Experience in using HART communicators. (Fisher 475 / AMS TREX).
* Knowledge in specifications of field instruments, instrument fittings, impulse tubing, cables, tools.
* Knowledge of Safety work procedures for Hazardous areas.
* Knowledge of preparing ISO documentation, log reports, SAP, Microsoft word / excel files.
General requirements : Good English communication skill.
Readiness to work in rotating shift duties.
Ability to handle / lead the team of Technicians / Foreman.
