Job title : Cost Accountant
Job description:
Daily Tasks (Manufacturing Accounting):
* Check the financial master data of any extended/newly created parts then roll over the cost properly Review the standard cost and report all type of variances and burden (PPV, POV, Burden, etc.)
* Manage the timely processing of the transactions to ensure that the costs are accurate in the system Partner with operation supervisors/SMEs to provide advice on matters impacting PnL
* Check OPEX especially the controllable expenses and report any savings potentials (expendable items, production supplies ….) and check whether anything related to project or not
* Capital spending control (raise AFE when needed, create asset, settle, AFE ….)
* Ensure the accuracy of headcounts cost centers (addition, deletion, transfers …)
Closing Activities
* Prepare monthly OPEX related reports to timetable support flash updates related to REMS
* Support in Stocktaking (Annual and monthly cycle count)
* Allocation cycles control (update as needed, run …)
* Create/update the overhead rates
* Support in Annual Fixed Assets Count
* Supporting in preparing the budget and forecast submissions.
* Closing entries (Profit in internal inventory, amortization, cost allocation, E&O reconciliation, ARM …) CAPEX review and reporting
* Manage and conclude all statutory and fiduciary responsibilities to the deadline (SAGIA, STATS, IKTIVA…)
Project Controlling
* Review and analyze project actual costs (hours, consumptions ..) versus planned costs.
* Create and control Project/WBS for all REMS projects
Process enhancement
* Ensure smooth running of production processes from the financial accounting point of view
* Support the Finance lead with process implementation in identified areas of non-compliance in addition to any Ad-hoc tasks
