Major Responsibilities & Duties performed:
* Polishing of lollipop and billet samples on polishing machine
* Identification of the samples, sparking of the sample & reporting to concerned depts., through electronic media.
* Recording the data in the OES register i.e., Doc. No. QAD R.02.
* Re-calibration as per schedule, and preventive maintenance of OES & Grinding machine
* Maintaining & monitoring the stock of all OES lab consumables.
* If any abnormality found in the analysis during the process of steel making, communicated Chief chemist & Manager (QA).
* Maintaining & updating the ISO documentation.
* Preservation & discarding the samples.
Maintain the house keeping in OES lab.
Other Responsibilities:
* To understand and follow the organizational HS&E policies.
* To follow safety instructions related to his jobs.
* To report damaged PPE, unsafe machines or equipment to concerned staff.
* To keep the provided PPEs in good and workable conditions.
* To avoid any horseplay and abuse of safety devices, equipment and welfare facilities.
* To report any accidents, near misses or hazardous conditions to concerned responsible.
* To attend safety trainings planned for him.
* Having a right to say "NO" to any unsafe work.
