As a Cold Store Supervisor for Maersk in Saudi Arabia Area you are responsible
to drive cold storage footprint growth and profitability in the Area by
translating global strategy and initiatives into execution plans. You will be
required to build capable teams, assist with commercial customer contracts,
optimize cold store operations and maintain senior supplier management
relationships.

This role reports directly into the Cold Store Site Manager
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure Customer contract requirements are understood and utilized to meet business expectations
* Be proactive and creative specific to improving & optimizing changes that enhance the Customer value proposition
* Quality and accuracy of inbound/outbound shipments
* Recognize/Develop opportunities for growth
* Demonstrate consistent awareness of the business profile as it changes and understand respective implications
* Maximize the performance of the site warehouse management system to ensure:
Care, custody and control of Customer inventory
* Productivity and Space utilization (efficient product placement, etc.)
* Proper utilization of systems
* Manage a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for Associates
* Ensure processes are documented in SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures).
* Ensure Client SLA terms are met and agreed KPI are achieved.
* Ensure company policies are communicated, administered and enforced
* Asset control responsibilities to ensure the Associates have required tools to achieve success against their goals
* Maximize the performance of the site
* Leadership, design & execution of action plans, projects and best practice sharing /
implementation
* Trend & Impact analysis that leads to execution of improvement action plans regarding service levels to ensure that performance metrics meet Customer and Company requirements
* Take an active role in site workload planning and volume forecasting (i.e. staffing, equipment, space)
* Participate in the management, training, and development of cold store multi-skill teams (blue and white collars)
* Manage and ensure timely performance reviews, development, succession planning, onboarding and development of the cold store teams
* Ensure adherence to HSSE standards on site
Who we are looking for
* ‎5+ years experience in a distribution center or warehouse facility, preferably for temperature-controlled cargo in KSA or GCC
* ‎3+ years in leading multi-skill teams (blue and white collar)
* Must have WMS work experience
* Experience handling pharma products is a strong plus
* Experience with temperature-controlled logistics: Storage and preferably also with drayage, distribution/trucking, and customs clearance.
* Must be able to communicate with senior leadership
* Intermediate level of computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

* At times may be required on significantly extended shift hours based on business need
