Responsibilities:
* Identifying Vendors, Requesting Quotes from Vendors, Issuing POs, Expediting on urgent requirements.
* Standardize all process relate to Purchasing.
* Document each process with proper revisions for future reference.
* Allocate resource to ensure all procurement activities are undertaken in a timely manner.
* Ensure procurement activity for all the contracts is managed within agreed budgets.
* Ensure all governance process is followed and all paperwork and approval hierarchy are adhered to.
* Review non-conformances raised against the department and vendors regularly and assign resource to close out Non-Conformances (NCs) with appropriate Root cause analysis and CAR within agreed timescales.
* Implement 5S & Lean Practices
* Plan and set department Goals and individual goals to meet company strategies.
* Ensure the ASL (Approved Suppliers List) and risk assessment metrics are always aligned and up to date.
* Assist the purchasing supervisor/ manager in making improvement plan (cost and lead-time).
* Comply with NOV HSEQ Policy and Safety Procedures to avoid incidents and accidents.
* Maintain clean and orderly work area.
Skills & Competencies:
* Strong problem-solving skills reference to the Purchasing process
* Negotiation Skills, Technical Skills and Analytic.
* Understanding of leadership principles and management best practice.
* Verbal and written communications skills for a demanding and customer focused work environment.
* Drive all department personal in an efficient way by following the company moral values.
* Maintain regular and proactive contact with management.
* Experience in ERP systems (Preferred JDE)
* Proficient in MS office.
Qualifications/ Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree graduate in procurement or any supply chain field.
* Minimum 4 years of experience.
