Responsibilities:
* As a Signals Expert you are required to provide consultation, supervision, and checking the plan, design, materials, manufacture, factory test, packing, delivery, installation, test & commissioning, trial run, spare parts, maintenance plan, and activities, etc.
* Do interfaces with system supplier and railway company for the project progress, and manage the project implementation, and also find a problem and provide the solution.
* Do checks all documents related to the signaling system such as international and domestic standards, laws, regulations, operation/maintenance manuals, design and as-built documents, and drawings.
* Do checks the cost and budget, BOQ, working staffs' skills of system supplier, and engineer dispatch status and their duties.
* Making a plan, feasibility study, basic design, detail design, BOQ, budget, RFP, bid preparation, bidding support, etc.
* Responsibility for the railway signaling engineering service
* Supervision and inspection of the railway signaling system construction
* Scrutiny and checking of designs, manufacture, installation, costs
* Enabling the contractor's works
* Analyze the scope of signaling work and RFP
* Analyze the standards of railway signaling
* Advice on the standards and an international trend of technique
* Interface with clients, contractors, and other parts
* Suggest the best signaling system and bidding guidelines
Requirements:
* Minimum bachelor's degree in electronic or telecommunication engineering
* Minimum 20 years at railway signaling
* Field experience of railway signaling system
* Member of Saudi Council of Engineers
* Computer handling skill for the documentation
* Handling CAD program for checking the drawing
* Railway signaling knowledge
* Train control knowledge
* Understanding the Railway signaling system's principle
* Understanding Rules and standards of the railway signaling
* Good communication skills with clients and system suppliers
