Basic Function


Assist more senior Geologists in their geological work assignments around the
process of acquiring, analyzing and interpreting geological data in order to
provide accurate and customized services to clients.


Key Accountabilities:



  • Assist in the execution of exploration plans through Geotechnical logging and Surface sampling, perform in-situ testing under direction of upper level geologists. Assistance with other departments in the field as needed.

  • Provide field data to engineering team from logging and testing. Maintain the quality and integrity of the geological models and databases Provide assistance and technical support for engineering team.

  • Ensure that Fugro policies and procedures are understood, implemented and adhered to by all employees.


Qualifications / Skills / Experience required:



  • Engineering Bachelor degree - Civil Engineering in Geotechnical or Geology

  • Between ‎0 to ‎3 years of related work experience.

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong orientation to working as a Team

  • Problem solving skill
