Planner and Logistics Coordinator

We are currently looking for a Planner and Logistics Coordinator that will be
responsible for planning timely, secure, and cost-effective logistics for the
Saudi Arabia operations according to Valmet guidelines and practices.
Main Duties and Responsibilities are:
* Order expediting with factories, communication with customers & agents for all orders.
* Preparation of shipping documents and shipping instructions and Maintain Export/Import Bills File Coordination of factory & customer invoice documentation.
* To be involved in IQI manual process for the area under the job responsibilities
* Provide expediting reports on weekly basis and monthly reports for backlog orders and shipped orders and to maintain order files with appropriate section.
* Provide customers with updated delivery status based on factory lead times and local operations assembly works.
* Issue all necessary import functions such as Saber certificate or SASO, customs communication, and local transportation and arrangement for local delivery or export delivery to customers.
* Review new work orders and plan for assembly Local purchasing on a timely basis
* Perform planning and production tasks, anticipate program needs, and expedite material and tool requirements for production, manufacturing and assembly operations.
* Responsible for developing, coordinating and communicating the daily production schedule including the creation and release of work orders.
* Schedule production factoring in work orders, maintenance, new product development, inventory availability and capacity planning.
* Measure performance of all critical factors to ensure compliance to plans including publishing of KPI's.
* Lead issue resolution when products are behind schedule or at risk of being behind schedule.
* Own production orders from start to finish, recording time and output and troubleshooting any discrepancies immediately with a common goal of correcting the problems.
* Ensure accurate and timely completion of production orders.
* Interface with manufacturing, engineering, quality, HSE, purchasing and management to provide timely status of work products and / or problem identification and resolution.
* Maintain the ERP system integrity to drive material and production schedules and execute processes per requirements.
* Maintain ERP system parameters including material master data and performance criteria
* Own customer service performance of assigned products and resources.
Required Competencies:
* Solid education with a proven ability to learn demonstrated by relevant results, either academic or technical via 'on the job' training.
* Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic language
* Intermediate computer literacy; a good understanding of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn new informatic tools; experience of CRM and ERP systems
* Attention to detail, accuracy and consistency are key attributes together with well-structured working methods and systematic follow-up
* Ability to work flexibly and demonstrate a willingness to respond to changing work requirements and peak periods.
* Good written and verbal communication skills, which result in effective and appropriate communication with a broad range of people, both locally and globally
* Must be a natural forward planner, capable of working autonomously, and must be able to multitask and be a motivated self-starter
