Entry Level Design Engineer (KFUPM)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* All tasks are carried out in accordance with Engineering group policies and quality procedures under the leadership of the Engineering Manager.
* Technical support for drill bit design features, selection and application - the RDE will be the local expert for internal and external customers for drill bit product development and application.
* Design of fixed cutter product in cooperation with DSE, Sales and external customers (client Drilling Engineers).
* Contribute to sales and marketing efforts to ensure products offered are in line with engineering group and company strategies.
* Provide technical support both internally and externally to customers.
* Assist field testing and new technology commercialization.
* Interact with personnel in other departments and disciplines.
* Consistently produce quality work and recommend areas where quality can be improved.
* Chair meetings with internal and external customers and be aware of (and deliver) client expectationshair client meetings and monitor individual's performance to ensure customer care is at .
* Remain aware and involved in the latest developments within the industry and the greater engineering world to identify any potential concepts that could be incorporated into new designs.
* Travel as and when required in order to support the business.
* Carry out any other reasonable duties when requested by a line manager.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILL-SET REQUIRED:
* Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical engineering or equivalent Engineering major.
* Degree Score : Minimum ‎2:1 (‎3.0 to ‎3.33 GPA).
* ‎0 to ‎3 years maximum experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
