Position Summary:
Major Responsibilities:-
* Coordination for scheduling iron ore shipment with department manager as per their requirement.
* Coordinating with Material handling foreman for shift manning and planning in stacking & reclaiming of material as per the requirement.
* Coordinating with auto workshop for regular maintenance & repair of heavy equipment and also distributing jobs to them as per schedule.
* Finalizing the monthly production statistics for accounting purposes.
* Taking reports from concerned foreman regarding distribution of materials.
* Handling Raw materials (pellets) & finished product (DRI).
* Making Schedule of man powers for smooth running of plant.
* Taking reports from the concerned foreman regarding distribution of materials.
* Supervise during Loading & Dispatching of DRI Fines to customers or for making stock.
* Preparation of Log sheets & Records as per the weighbridge report.
* Having keen look on sales in close coordination with department manager, arrange manpower, all mobile equipment, hoses, bags, PPE, etc. for any 3rd party sales activity.
* Co-ordination with Material & Logistics operators and department Manager
* Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
* Ensuring Equipment's availability round the clock in coordination with maintenance team.
* Maintain proper housekeeping in all designated area under department's jurisdiction
* Assist Foreman and operators whenever required
* Keep record for all activity and conduct/review safety related documents like tool box talk
* Keep record of all incoming and outgoing material and even sales document.
* Other Resposibilities:-
* To understand and follow the organizational HS&E policies.
* To follow safety instructions related to his jobs.
* To report damaged PPE, unsafe machines or equipment to concerned staff.
* To keep the provided PPEs in good and workable conditions.
* To avoid any horseplay and abuse of safety devices, equipment and welfare facilities.
* To report any accidents, near misses or hazardous conditions to concerned responsible.
* To attend safety trainings planned for him.
* Having a right to say "NO" to any unsafe work.
