Industry Energy technology (IET) part of Baker Hughes Company operates across

Team uses cutting-edge technology to design gas and steam turbines,
compressors and expanders.

As an Assembler - Mechanical you will be responsible for:
* Assembling components such as Compressors, Motors, pipes, and baseplate per assembly drawings.
* Operating overhead Carne to movie equipment
* Working within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
* Performing assembly/disassembly, adjust and install mechanical to meet tolerance and product operating requirements
* Performing basic mathematical calculations. Good mechanical aptitude, use of general hand tools, power tools needed for assembly and precision measuring equipment.
* Performing testing such as hydrotest and pneumatic test.
* Performing alignment for Centrifugal Compressor and electrical motor with gearbox.
* Complying with all applicable quality, health, safety, and environmental directives and regulations
* Having ownership for completion of QC Sheets, manufacturing forms, completion work forms
To be successful in this role you will:
* Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
* Have ‎3+ years experience in packaging lines.
* Have experience in mechanical activities such as assembly pipes & equipment, testing.
* Have knowledge of packaging manufacturing operations.
* Have experience in alignment for Centrifugal Compressor and electrical motor with gearbox.
* Have knowledge of the product: Centrifugal Compressor, Gas Turbine, Electrical Motor, Gearbox.
* Have knowledge of packaging drawings read and understand.
* Have knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective gloves , Safety glass etc.)
* Have deftness and attention to detail
* Be proficient in English
