member within the water and wastewater team in the Global Software
organization. As a Software Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing
and developing embedded software solutions for our innovative products.

Job Responsibilities

If you take the challenge as our Software Engineer you will be deeply involved
in the development of firmware and application software for embedded systems,
in close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including senior software
engineers, hardware engineers, and product designers.

Furthermore.

• Assist in translating product requirements into detailed software designs and specifications.


• Develop and maintain firmware and application software using programming languages such as C, C++ and preferably knowledge of Python in connection with software testing.


• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with team members to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.


• Debug and troubleshoot software issues, and work closely with the hardware team for system integration.


• Support the testing and validation of software functionality, including unit testing and integration testing.


• Maintain accurate documentation of software designs, specifications, and development processes.


• Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry standards, and best practices in firmware and application software development for embedded systems.


• Seek guidance and learn from senior engineers to enhance technical skills and contribute to a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment within the team.

Background & Skills

You probably have a Software background, maybe with some interest in firmware
and application software development for embedded systems.

Your educational background could be Software engineer (B.SC+) or another
suitable degree in computer science. Moreover, you have extensive knowledge
and understanding of best practice in software development with ‎2-‎3 years of
work experience. You are proficient in programming languages such as C, C++
and Python.

Furthermore.

• Familiarity with embedded systems concepts, microcontrollers, and real-time operating systems.


• Understanding of version control systems and collaborative development tools.


• Basic understanding of hardware design principles and electronic components.


• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a passion for being part of a highly effective and cohesive team.


• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
