Manufacturing Engineering of the Future Smart Factory
- Southern Denmark, preferable Graasten

About us
Our Global Supply Chain Technology team is looking for ‎2-‎4 ambitious
Manufacturing Engineering interns for Fall semester ‎2023.

You will be a part of our Supply Chain Global Technology Center with around
‎100 employees worldwide where we work with manufacturing-technology, test-
concepts and
IT-landscapes related to world class smart factory manufacturing. We are
currently looking for interns in the following working area:

• Team OTM (Thomas E. Riemer) - Manufacturing Technology Engineer Intern. You will contribute to develop our future automized manufacturing concepts and meet a wide range of interesting technologies within manufacturing i.e. Design for Automated Assembly (DFA/A), Robotics in assembly and automated guided vehicles (AGV's) in logistics.

  Team TPA (Brian Svendsen, Peter L. Andersen) - Platform Architect Intern
  You will, among other activities, contribute to the development of our Global
  Technology Roadmap, and during this work you will meet many stakeholders
  globally. You will initially be driving this within the Unit Assembly domain
  and ensure that the project portfolio within the roadmap is updated,
  prioritized and aligned with management. You will also be involved in platform
  related activities, that will enable us to build a future manufacturing setup
  that can be scaled globally.

  Team OTT (Peter Westermann) - SW Developer Intern. You will contribute to the development of our future production setup. You will work with cloud applications in .NET. Our setup is based on Azure technologies such as Azure IoT Hub, Azure Functions, Cosmos DB

  
  

You will become part of a larger team, where you will be involved in working
with different technologies that we will apply in both the short and long
term. We focus on the Industry ‎4.0 environment for manufacturing and many
other technologies that will secure us a position on the journey through the
4th industrial revolution ("Industry ‎4.0").

Background & Skills

Candidate profile
You are either a Bachelor or Master student in engineering, with a study,
which is relevant for our business area. Note this application covers ‎3
various areas in our Department. Please mark your area of interest in your
application. It would be advantageous if you can document activities or
projects related to automation and you are professionally curious, enjoy
learning, and have an enthusiasm for technology development. We also expect
you to be entrepreneurial and want to work with many different people in an
international environment.

Working location
Southern Denmark, Danfoss Drives, Ulsnaes ‎1, ‎6300 Graasten. We can offer you
