Job Description
* Design of temporary works
* Preparation of purchase requests for permanent materials procured by site team
* Evaluation of technical submittals for project materials procured by site team
* Establish with the Construction Manager the construction methodology
* Coordinate constructability reviews
* Analyze the IFC drawings and project specification documents to understand project scope thoroughly and to raise technical queries well in advance to facilitate the execution works.
* Support the Construction Section Heads / Engineers in the preparation of construction documentation such as method statements, lifting plans, procedures, bar bending schedule, rebar detailing drawings and other field engineering related tasks.
* Reviewing tender documents/ drawings and preparing technical offers and putting estimating etc.
* Performs any other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Civil
* Engineering from a recognized and reputed University.
* Minimum 4 - 6 years' work experience in similar position.
* Fluency in English and preferably Arabic
* Proficient in computer skills including REVIT, Navis Works, AutoCAD (3D), MS Office Suite, Power Point, PDF Editing
* Proficient in structural design programs .
