Job Description
Lead and manage all sourcing activities for new programs (including and not
limited to S/D selection, KDPL, sourcing local parts, sourcing codes creation,
contracting and archiving)
Work cross-functionally to develop S/D markup for new programs.
Identify the sourcing strategy and develop the recommendation packages to the sourcing according to project timeline and within allowable budget.
Conduct/manage selective bidding process
Select new products feasible for localization for current programs
Pitch ideas for localization to management
Execute the pricing changes related to the EWOs for local parts
Create/develop purchasing orders and manage the annual contracts for local parts
Negotiate prices and cost break down structure
Develop and execute ideas for annual cost saving
Review prices dynamics and develop prices increase forms
Assess, manage and mitigate risks
Represents purchasing activities on program team and vice-versa
Partner with Program Managers to represent purchasing and communicate program requirements/vehicle line overview.
