Description
The School of Computational Sciences and Artificial Intelligence at the
University of science and technology (UST) at Zewail City announces a full-
time faculty position, the position will have a focus area of teaching
software development tools, techniques, languages, and processes. The ideal
candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge in various areas such as Agile
Software Development, DevOps, mobile application development, and security
methods in software development. Additional responsibilities include teaching
in-class and online courses. The position will collaborate with other faculty,
develop courses, and teach across several programs. Extensive Teaching and
curriculum development experience is highly preferred.
Performance Functions :
* Develop the curriculum and teach a variety of software development courses.
* Actively engage with students and provide constructive feedback on assignments.
* Motivate students to actively participate in all aspects of the educational process.
* Participate in selecting and managing adjunct professors for assigned courses.
* Develop and maintain curricula in both online and classroom formats.
* Participate in program assessment, accreditation, and committee/community service.
* Other duties as assigned by the Program Director and the Dean.
The successful candidate will contribute to undergraduate and graduate
programs and will be actively engaged in research.
