Main Responsibilities:
MH Engineering
Lead activity for end of year inventory CFT with AMI region.
Set and standardize operation sheets for all processes inside (Material
Handling/Unpacking area).
Key player in GES activity "action plan creation, monthly meeting, monthly
award activity".
Make parts layout / man map for unpacking area to receive parts from CKD and
make distribution process.
Review/Design parts flow/routes inside plant to ensure smooth feeding to
production shops according to sequence.
Design parts transportation tools [racks – dolly pallets - kits].
Issue maintenance technical requirements for handling tools and make annual
plan for maintenance.
Set technical specs. for handling equipment [tractor – lifter – fork lifts].
Make monthly report for MH/UP performance including breakdowns and achievement
ratio.
Set MH KPIs and monitor results on daily basis [breakdowns / discrepancy].
Troubleshooting for any Quality, Cost, Time concern of parts during feeding.
Decrease picking time at assembly lines by improving parts feeding layout.
Decrease solid wastes at assembly line by designing special pallets to feed
parts without dunnage.
Eliminate fatigue sources from picking parts by include ergonomics factors in
rack layout design.
Translate ISO 9001 /14001 / 18001 requirement for MH / new packaging projects
activity.
Packaging Engineering
Packaging Cost reduction Activity “Alliance synergy “with monthly report.
Freight mitigation activity for cost increased.
Make annual cost reduction plan activity for logistic cost [packing material /
container filling ratio / M3/unit].
Validate and improve new packaging design for CKD parts received from overseas
supplier, so as to enhance Quality, cost, time of packaging.
Window person for oversees – local suppliers to confirm/implement any change
of packaging.
Set and follow packaging KPIs & target [cost/unit] – [m3/unit] – [CFR].
Make guardian activity at supplier side/ NMEG plant in new model to ensure the
quality and cost effectiveness.
Issue claims against supplier in case of any problem due packaging during UP -
assembly.
Apply ANPQP documentation system for new projects.
Create/ Design Approval /Improve the New Model Packing Design Sheet and
packing Process Sheet “PDS and PPS” for all Parts “CKD,UCKD and Direct.
Work with key function [inventory – QA – MH] to validate and confirm a new
packaging.
Qualifications & relevant experience
Bachelor of Engineering in Relevant manufacturing / engineering degree
7-9 years of experience in production / manufacturing process (Automotive is a
must)
Experience in Packaging Engineering is a must
Fluency in English and Arabic languages
