Pilot (Functional Check Flight) - MH-60R

Essential Responsibilities:
* Assist RSNF designated FCF Pilots with all portions of maintenance functional check flights, including preflight briefing, preflight, flight checks, post flight and all required FCF documentation.
* Assist maintenance contractors with in-flight trouble shooting and/or verifications of maintenance discrepancies or repairs, by conducting ground and flight checks.
* Assist in managing a U.S. Government approved flight operations program in compliance with the NAVAIRINST ‎3710.1 series and the following documents: COMNAVAIRFOR M-‎3710.7 series, NATOPS General Flight & Operating InstructionsNAVAIRINST ‎3710.1 series, Contractors Flight & Ground Operations(SAU) A1-H60RA-NFM-‎000, RSNF NATOPS Flight Manual(SAU) A1-H560RA-NFM-700A, FCF Pocket ChecklistLocal Directives, Instructions, SOPs, and guidelines as required by using activity and for execution of tasks.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Applicant must possess an FAA Commercial Pilot or Transport Pilot Certificate
and the appropriate category and class ratingMinimum of ‎1000 total hours as
Pilot in CommandMinimum of ‎300 hours, in similar aircraft type (H-‎60)Past
(required) or current designation as a Helicopter Aircraft Commander (HAC) is
required. Past (required) or current (desired) designation as a H-‎60
Functional/Maintenance Check Pilot is required. Previous or current
designation as Instructor is desired. Advanced knowledge in the practical
application of engineering principles, techniques, procedures, and
equipment.Operational Risk ManagementCrew Resource ManagementAdvanced
knowledge of H-‎60 operational systems and capabilities. Knowledge of
COMNAVAIRINST ‎4790.2 series maintenance programs and maintenance
practices/procedures.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
