We are looking to expand our EAL team and need an EAL Teaching Assistant to
start from Aug 2022.
Key Responsibilities
* To assist EAL teachers within the ELD classes.
* To support small groups of EAL children within the mainstream classes as directed by classroom teachers.
* To pre-teach and re-teach key concepts taught in class.
* To provide frequent check-ins with EAL students to ensure understanding and check for areas that require further intervention.
* To carry out 1-to-1 ELD intervention sessions to help meet EAL students requirements.
Qualifications
* A relevant English teaching certificate such as TEFL, TESOL, TESL or CELTA
* Minimum 2-4 years experience in a similar position
* Excellent written and spoken English (B2 CEFR level and above)
* Ability to speak more than one language is desirable (ideally Korean, Arabic or French)
