Finance Partner

RAK Academy is seeking a dynamic and committed Finance Partner to join the
Finance Team. This is an exciting role which will be reporting to the Finance
Manager.
Over the past five years RAK Academy Family of Schools has grown significantly
and our reputation for developing academic achievement and is well known as
one of the international schools of choice in Ras Al Khaimah.
Job Purpose:
The Finance Partner is accountable for relevant school level account
transactions . Support and advise the student's parents in school admission
transactions by collaborating with the team and support the management with
relevant reports and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all accounting transactions.
* Process petty cash payments as per the approved petty cash policies and procedures
* Prepare a monthly petty cash expenses summary report.
* Submit petty cash reimbursements.
* Processing School Fee / General invoices
* School fees collection
* Provide statement of accounts for students' parents
* Invoicing of school fees and other services
* Perform admin assignments by Head of School
* Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
* Reconcile accounts receivables.
* Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
* Comply to financial policies and regulations.
* Managing records and receipts
* Reconciling daily, monthly, and yearly transactions
* Developing an in-depth knowledge of organizational products/services and process
* Providing customer service to clients
* Resolve financial concerns raised by the customer service/Admission team.
* Supporting the Finance Manager and executives with projects and tasks when required.
The candidate must have:
* Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
* Professional level proficiency in English (written and spoken)
* Arabic is an advantage.
* Advanced MS Projects and MS office skills
* Microsoft Office knowledge and experience especially Excel
* Knowledge of ERP systems
* Must be able to work well with a wide variety of people and have excellent communication and organizational skills. The ability to multitask and organize work promptly.
Experience:
‎5 years' experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
