Contract Term: Full time, two years
Certification: A British teacher with current PGCE or equivalent plus a UK
QTS certificate

Required Abilities, Qualifications and Experience:
* extensive academic training and successful experience in teaching Science at the secondary level. Preference for teachers with an academic major in Science
* demonstrated ability to use a variety of formative and summative assessments to plan for instruction and motivate students
* knowledge of, and demonstrated application of current philosophy, teaching practices, and evaluation/assessment practices
* excellent short- and long-term planning
* successful experience in preparing students for exams
* demonstrated use of highly successful instructional strategies in the classroom
* demonstrated high energy and interpersonal skills
* strong technology skills and the ability to apply them as an instructional tool to support learning in the classroom
* demonstrated excellent classroom management behaviour management and classroom organization skills
* demonstrated sensitivity, awareness and understanding of adolescent development and enthusiasm for working and developing positive relationships with adolescents
* demonstrated capabilities in working effectively and collaboratively as a member of a team
* excellent interpersonal skills with students, staff and parents
* willingness to contribute to a positive school culture by volunteering in extracurricular activities
* is well-balanced and is flexible so that one can adapt to differences in everyday life
* demonstrates an understanding of cultural diversity and is flexible with respect living in Egypt
* has a sense of adventure and an interest in contributing to the success of BSA
