  • Reconcile client accounts and resolve discrepancies.

  • Perform accrual accounting tasks including the calculation and recording of month-end accruals and other adjusting entries.

  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online and Xero.

  • No direct communication with clients

  • Provide administrative support as needed, including filing, and organizing financial records.

  • Prepare and maintain fixed asset register and debt schedules.

  • Assist in monthly financial close process, including preparation of financial statements.

  • Handle client data and prepare financial reports.

  • Attend training meetings to stay up to date on industry trends and changes.

  • Analyze financial statements and make recommendations for improvement.

  • Stay up to date with industry developments and changes in accounting regulations.

  • Assist in ad hoc projects and assignments as needed.

  • Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Manager

  • Record and reconcile financial transactions, including invoices, bills, checks, sales, purchases, and expenses, in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.

  • Maintaining accurate records of accounts payable and accounts receivable

  • Reconciling bank and credit card statements

  • Assist in preparing and filing tax forms, such as 1099s and local taxes returns depending on the state.

  • Generating financial reports on a regular basis, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets

  • Assisting with the preparation of annual financial statements and tax returns

  • Follow instructions and company policies to ensure consistent and accurate financial reporting.

  • Attend meetings and training sessions to stay up to date on industry developments and company policies.

  • Collaborate with the assistant manager and other team members to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information.
    Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field

  • ‎1-‎3 years of experience in accounting

  • Knowledge in QuickBooks Online and Xero

  • Strong data entry skills and ability to follow instructions.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Good communication skills

  • High attention to detail

  • Tech savvy and good experience with the following software (Microsoft ‎365, Monday.com, Slack, etc)
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: E£‎35,000.‎00 - E£‎38,400.‎00 per year
