Site Services & Project Controls Superintendent

We are looking for a talented and skilled Site Services & Project Controls
Superintendent to join our multicultural and diverse team in Kuwait. Reporting
to the Projects & Engineering Manager you will be responsible for leading and
monitoring all internal and growth project site construction activities within
the company. Additionally, you will ensure that all construction work is
carried out within the project’s scope and contract parameters for schedule,
cost and quality.
Duties may include but will not be limited to:
* Contribute to the development of Kuwait Steel’s safety culture by ensuring all staff and contractors comply with HSE policies and procedures.
* Prepare daily email reports for the lead discipline project department engineers (civil, mechanical and electrical/automation) for the lead discipline project department engineers.
* Review and approve construction method statements of all contractors of P&E; department projects.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls across the site service section to guarantee safety for technicians/supervisors and contractors.
* Ensure all site commitments are completed on time, to the quality standards and within budget.
* Ensure that all contracts with 3rd party contractors are written to achieve the best results for the Company and meet the time schedules of the Client in conjunction with the P&E; Manager and General Counsel.
* Develop and review all internal Kuwait Steel project schedules for major projects (internal and growth).
* Establish a baseline control budget for all major projects (internal & growth).
* Monitor budget against project progress.
Preferred Experience
* Steel Rebars & Billets Experience
* SAP
* GCC Experience
* Diploma in Engineering (civil, electrical or mechanical)
* Bachelor's Degree - Engineering (civil, electrical or mechanical)
