We are looking for a talented and skilled Electronic Specialist to join our
multicultural and diverse team in Kuwait. Responsible for upgrading the
software if necessary and carrying out day-to-day shift activities,
inspections, and repairs, attending planned and unplanned shutdowns.
Duties may include but will not be limited to:
Inspection of electrical-related systems, preparing the reports and reporting
any abnormality observed to the higher levels and recording it in the log
book.
Proper maintenance of the Automation System and updating the knowledge in
PLCs, Drives (VVVF and DC drives) and other devices, software back-up taking,
proper safekeeping and uploading / downloading programs to the related
equipment and maintaining these systems well.
Carrying-out preventive and corrective maintenance activities according to the
work order given and giving proper feedback.
Attending breakdowns and minimizing delays and unplanned shutdowns and
conducting delay analysis with the help of Real-Time measuring systems and
making necessary steps to reduce the delay.
Coordinates with Electrical & Automation Planner regarding work
accomplishments, inspection findings and feedback on all needed information
surrounding operations delay.
Ensures that necessary equipment, parts, tools and other supplies are
identified and available.
Monitors and reviews regularly downtime incurred during operation; evaluates
and determines possible causes of such, and draws a plan to minimize or
prevent its occurrence.
Carrying-out repair and calibration activities, making spares ready.
Spare parts and tools checking and informing the Electrical & Electronic Shift
In-Charge of unavailability of spares and tools in advance and issuing
materials from the Stores.
