We are seeking a talented and skilled Talent Acquisition & Employee Engagement
Officer to join our multicultural and diverse team in Kuwait. Within the team,
you will be responsible for attracting, recruiting, and retaining top talent
while fostering a positive and engaging work environment.
Duties may include but will not be limited to:
* Collaborating with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and creating job descriptions that effectively communicate role requirements.
* Drafting and publishing job advertisements on various job boards and social media platforms.
* Sourcing potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
* Reviewing applications and conducting initial screenings to shortlist candidates that align with job requirements and the company values and behaviours.
* Coordinating and conducting in-person and virtual interviews, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
* Conducting reference checks and verifying the employment history of potential candidates.
* Extending job offers, negotiating terms, and facilitating the onboarding process for new hires.
* Developing and implementing strategies to enhance employee engagement and job satisfaction across the organisation.
* Planning and executing employee engagement programs, events, and initiatives, such as team-building activities, recognition programs, and wellness initiatives.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address employee concerns and implementing action plans to create a positive work environment.
To be successful in the role, you will have the following:
* Proven experience working in a similar role with at least four years of experience.
* A strong understanding of HR principles, recruitment strategies, and employee engagement best practices.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
* A data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse metrics and trends to make informed decisions.
* Proficiency in using HR Software and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
* Proficiency in using Creative Design programs such as Canva, and Adobe Photoshop.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
