We are looking for a talented and skilled Logistics Superintendent to join our
multicultural and diverse team in Kuwait. To manage material handling,
dispatch of rebars/billets, yard operations & plant logistics in the most
efficient way aiming for smooth functioning of logistics operations with
minimized cost.
Duties may include but will not be limited to:
* Manage logistics, warehouses, transportation, and customer service in a strategic manner.
* Manage, optimize, and coordinate the entire order process.
* Manage quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, and transportation costs.
* Ensure cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness are met.
* Ensure that schedule release information and all other logistics/materials requirements are communicated to customers, sales, planning, production, QC, and other departments.
* Manage contracts with various vendors/service providers.
* Improve operational efficiency by implementing new technologies and ideas.
