We are looking for a talented and skilled Storekeeper to join our
multicultural and diverse team in Kuwait. Store Keeper will carryout the day
to day operations of the business and provide assistance as per the advice of
Store In-Charge (RM1 & RM2) / Store In-Charge (SMP & LCP) as per the overall
Direction of the Store Supervisor at Procurement Division in the respective
Stores. Under limited supervision, performs all activities regarding the
Operations and Maintenance of Stores and Services for USIC and its entities.
Duties may include but will not be limited to:
* Marking of item code with description.
* Regular check-up of all material handling equipment in store.
* Regular monitoring of the expiry date of materials.
* Ensure correctness in Quality, Quantity, Specifications, and Condition of materials received from vendors.
* Receive materials ordered by Procurement Department and supplied by Vendors.
* Ensure effective utilization of available storage space and workers engaged in the process of storekeeping.
* Ensure a smooth issue of materials to User Department.
* Stock Verification to always ensure the correctness of stock.
* Regular monitoring of Shelf life and its expiry.
* Regular maintenance of all the equipment in the Store.
* Avoid damage and loss of materials in stores.
* Physical counting/reconciliation of materials receipt and issue.
* Works to proactively resolve performance issues to ensure effective and timely resolution.
* Participate in developing and monitoring performance against the operating budget.
* Support the Risk Manager and Legal offices with all contract documents.
* Coordinate the storage, repurpose, and disposal of surplus materials, equipment, and vehicles with required documentation and agreements.
