Maintain effective and positive internal communication with the iMMAP Erbil
office team members to be in line with the policies and procedures and
exchange knowledge.
GIS & Field Survey
* Creation of shapefiles through the digitization of aerial imagery in line with iMMAP standards to create new layers for Iraq.
* Data collection through field survey as directed by the Project Manager.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.## Qualifications & Preferred Skills
* University degree (Bachelor’s degree or higher) in Information Science, Geographical Information Systems, Computer Science or other relevant field or relative professional experience.
* Demonstrable minimum one (1) years of work experience in the field of GIS Digitization is essential;
* Experience in the use of software, such as ArcGIS Desktop, QGIS;
* Excellent computer skills in Windows and Microsoft Office especially MS Excel and MS Access
* Very good English and Kurdish, both spoken and written.
* In-depth knowledge of GIS software, and computer networks, good knowledge of related hardware and peripheral equipment.
* Understanding of data QA/QC processes for information management is desirable.
* Very good ability in topographical map reading.
* Experience of mobile data collection platforms for field survey.
* ArcGIS Desktop
* Mobile data collection e.g. Survey 123, KOBO etc.## Guiding Principles
