An experienced Field Service Representative to support and advise the
customer within the In Service Support contract at Al Dhafra base in Abu
Dhabi.
Your role
As a Mission System (MS) Field Service Representative (FSR), your main task
will be to support the Customer in the operation and maintenance of the
GlobalEye Mission System and its related systems on ground.
You will be stationed in Abu Dhabi as an expatriate for about 2 years within
the international AEW &C (Airborne Early Warning & Control) project headed by
Saab Surveillance. The Saab team on-site in UAE will include specialists on
Aircraft platforms, Radar, EW and Mission Systems, Communications and ground
systems.
As an FSR you support and advise the customer in the daily operations,
establish and perform recurrent training as well as guide the customer's
technicians in the correct use of technical publications and safety
procedures. You report to the Maintenance Manager and work closely with the
other Saab specialists on-site.
The support to the customer also includes, but are not limited to, the
following:
* Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance as well as technical investigations
* Be the communication channel between the customer and Saab's back office support
* Perform on-the-job training as an instructor for the customer's mission system technicians
* Advise the Customer in maintenance related questions
* Work in team together with other Saab specialists on-site
An important part of the appointment is to build up and maintain Customer
satisfaction and relations. You will also contribute to the future development
of the GlobalEye mission system by reporting performed work, observations and
possible improvements back to Saab.
Your profile
You are an open-minded MS technician with experience of AEW&C operations. You
are a team player and a skilled communicator who thrives in a global and
complex environment.
Your qualifications also consists of:
* Knowledge of the GlobalEye System and its various airborne and ground-based sub-systems
* Experience of and interest in sharing knowledge
* Curious and eager to embrace new cultures, non-judgmental, flexible and tolerant
Working in an international environment and particular in the Middle East is
favorable, as well as exceptional social skills including focus on customer
needs.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current
regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security
