About the Role
Lockheed Martin is looking for ambitious and hardworking interns to work on a
number of exciting projects at our Center for Innovation and Security
Solutions in Masdar City, Abu Dhabi. The internship is currently
planned to be in person but may be virtual if the COVID-19 regulations change.
The systems engineering intern will develop and apply requirements,
validation, and verification techniques for various internship projects in
addition to conducting industrial research. The intern will report to the
manager of the
Lockheed Martin Center for Innovation & Security Solutions (CISS) but will
also take tasking directions from Lockheed Martin mentors.
The 2022 summer internship is anticipated to take place from June through
August.

Required skills, qualifications and experience
* Enrolled in a University in the UAE (Seniors or recently graduated)
* Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Systems engineering, Industrial engineering, engineering management or other related majors.
* GPA Higher than or equal to 3.0.
* Strong understanding of systems engineering technical processes (requirements analysis, testing and verification models, behavioral models, verification and validation models, etc.)
* Excellent verbal and oral communication skills.
* Familiarity with engineering management processes and product development (risk analysis, work breakdown structure, trade-off analysis, product lifecycle, etc.)
* Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills.
* Experience in various forms of testing and evaluating for the development of design and its implementation of the best output.
* Familiarity with Technology Reediness Level (TRL) Documents.
* Familiarity with supply chain and logistics.
