Provide support to Outage Preparation team in the planning, preparing and
creating outage plans for Barakah Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP). Facilitate the
coordination and communication with internal and external organizations
(site/plant/vendor), as and when necessary, to ensure outage plans are
suitably scoped, planned and clearly understood and properly executed in
accordance with industry best practices while achieving the highest standards
for nuclear and employee safety.
Outage Management - Preparation and Scheduling support
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
* Support creating refueling outage plans drafts based on the requirements of the long-term life-cycle outage plan to keep the Barakah Nuclear Power Plants operating safely and efficiently.
* Attend Outage meetings to assist Outage Preparation team in coordinating outage management plans to ensure alignment of the outage management department with Work Management, Maintenance and Turbine and Refuel Services.
* Assist outage preparation related activities in a manner that ensures Nuclear Safety, including all aspects of Shutdown Safety, is the overriding priority during outage schedule development to ensure a safety conscious work environment.
* Support the Outage Preparation team in preliminary reviews of Outage plans to help ensuring Maintenance, Operations, Work Management, and Turbine and Refuel Services are aligned with plans.
* Produce assigned schedules as assigned to assist in the milestone preparation.
Outage Management - Execution support
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
* Participate in outage execution activities, as directed by the management of Outage Preparation, such as outage control center (OCC) and daily outage meetings, and support outage work tracking to ensure safe and efficient implementation and execution.
* Assist in checking that key schedule milestones are being achieved by obtaining outage reports and identifying areas where events or information are missed to minimize plant downtime during planned and forced outages.
* Assist in the tracking of Contractor progress during the execution of the Outage to achieve safe and efficient implementation and execution.
Outage Management - Lessons Learned and Other
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
* Assist checking section performance against established performance criteria through various means such as self-assessments, performance monitoring programs, direct personal observation and industry benchmarked Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and report findings to Head of Outage Preparation to improve performance.
* Keep information systems effectively to track work volumes, schedule performance and overall outage performance in the Outage Management organization to enable trending, analysis and communication of performance.
Training Support
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
* Provide support in the coordination of training and coaching Nawah employees on the development, management, and reporting of outage milestones to support the objectives of the corporation and its Emiratization strategy.
* Assist implementing continuous improvement to further enhance the outage planning and scheduling process, understanding of overall plant operations, and impact of outage planning on safe and reliable operations.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
