Intern S&BD (m/f)

Role and Responsibilities

This position is a year-long internship with CAE MME, supporting the Strategy
& Business Development (S&BD) team. The position will afford the selected
candidate the opportunity to learn more about the business development
function, and to build relationships within a truly dynamic team.
This role will support the analysis of opportunities, engagement with customer
inquiries and other functions. The experience will include analyzing customer
and internal data in support of key recommendations to transform our business
operations. Additional projects will be tailored to fit our business need and
the ideal candidate's individual development goals.
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in related Business subject matter or area of expertise in strong alignment with the scope of this position and demonstrated strong academic performance.
* Demonstrated leadership in both academic and extracurricular engagements.
* Proficient with key office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
* A true team player; happy to support others to achieve a common goal, work with diverse teams and take initiative to support the team.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* English Language Fluency a must and Arabic language a plus.

* Hard-working and possess a desire to learn.
* Eagerness to explore Business Development in alignment with career goals.
* Ability to analyze and tell a story with data.
* Ability to present results of tasks to leadership.
* Strong organization and project management skills.
* Willingness to travel within the region.
Responsibilities:
* Attend and record minutes for the weekly Middle East Management Meetings.
* Attend weekly coordination meetings with the regional Business Development team.
* Research, synthesize, and author a monthly Press Brief to publish throughout the company.
* Support market analysis and produce relevant market trends in Defense and Security
* Support the Business Development team in creating monthly management reports.
* Represent the Middle East subregion in matters of international coordination, including but not limited to: supporting with the logistics of management offsites; providing local knowledge and inputs to regional Business Environment Assessments, supporting tradeshows planning, execution and participation; providing context and updates to the regional Defence and Security website.
* Support the regional offset manager in his role through interfacing with government entities, writing concept papers, and attending site-visits.
* Any additional relevant Business Development projects that may arise.
