The work schedule for this position is Full Time (40 of hours per week)

in obtaining the required residency visa to lawfully work in the UAE. Ref. to

Vacancy Q#1, and attach a copy of residency visa.
Basic Function of the Position:
The Visits and Events Coordinator is one of the three GSO Points-of-Contact
for continuity in the management of visits and TDYs to Post. The Coordinator
is responsible for working closely with the Travel, Motor Pool, Expediting,
and Procurement Units and other Mission sections as needed to schedules
services to meet visit requirements based on requests from the Visit Control
Officer, and in accordance with established rules, regulations and SOPs. The
Coordinator also maintains post 's official visitor list. The Coordinator may
also be called on to support post activities for significant events (e.g.
National Day or conferences). The incumbent is expected to work after hours as
needed. This will likely include approximately two evenings per month
attending functions or working on visits, and approximately 3-5 hours per week
handling phone calls.
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: Must have a minimum of 3 years ' progressively responsible
experience in administrative work, in work involving the application of
relatively complex material and extensive public contact is required.
Education Requirements:
Two years of college or university studies is required.
Evaluations:
LANGUAGE: Level 4 - Fluent in English (Speaking/Reading/Writing). (This
may be Tested)
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Strong organizational, analytic, and planning
abilities, including strong written and oral communication skills. Very good
working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Must possess a valid UAE driver's license. (This may be tested)
