SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Manage an assigned area or team by planning, organizing, and following up
warehouse activities to ensure efficient and safe warehouse operation in
accordance with HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment and Quality) requirements
and service targets.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure that all internal and external Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) requirements are followed to maintain a safe working environment. This includes adhering to safety protocols and quality standards
* Manage warehouse personnel, overseeing their daily activities and ensuring that the tasks are carried out efficiently and meeting the quality standards. This involves training, supervision and performance evaluation.
* Supervise and allocate daily tasks to warehouse personnel, ensuring the responsibilities are clearly defined and evenly distributed among the team members.
* Maintain close monitoring, tracking and improvement of Warehouse Department key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and its operations. KPI's include Warehouse Efficiency, HSE Compliance, Delivery performance, OTIF (On-Time-In-Full), and Transport Costs Analysis.
* Plan and organize daily distribution activities. This includes coordinating the efficient movement of products from the warehouse to their respective destinations. This planning should take into account factors like order prioritization, optimal transportation routes and delivery schedules.
* Monitor the performance of transport delivery operations closely. This includes tracking the timely and safe delivery of shipments. Address any issues or delays promptly to maintain customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

* Bachelor's degree preferably in Supply Chain Management.
* Minimum 2-4 years of experience.
* Fluency in English - both verbally and written.
