ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Planning delivery timetables.
* Ensuring stores have enough stock.
* Overseeing the packaging process and distribution of materials to Dept. & Villa.
* Monitoring stock levels.
* Tracking products through depots to make sure they arrive at their destination.
* Ensure targets are met (KPI's).
* Coordinate the procurement of Medical Consumables Supply Chain Management scope of service (Pharmacy/Facilities/Biomed).
* Confer with and assist clinical staff in developing specifications and selecting appropriate Medical Consumables.
* Receive and distribute procured items.
* Coordinate purchasing-related activities with clinical staff.
* Enter product information to create Purchase Orders.
* Maintain all reports for inventory re order and coordinate with Nursing Managers for same and maintain an efficient purchase order system and manage all communication with Clinical staff and recommend improvements to all service levels and ensure accuracy.
* Ensure proper recording and custody of all procurement documents and inventory
* Safeguard and manage procurement records and filing
* Ensure that the Warehouse is well organized to enhance easy access to goods, efficient utilization of space, and easier administration of the store operations Issue goods to users as per the requests in a timely manner and as per the specifications raised by the user departments
* Monitor stock levels and advice when re - order levels are reached to minimize stock outs.
* Any other relevant duties as may be assigned.
