The British School Al Khubairat (BSAK) is looking to employ a Full Time
Product Design Teacher with the possibility, for the right candidate, of Head
of Design and Technology starting 2nd January, ‎2024.
BSAK is the British Embassy school in the UAE and is not for profit and is non
selective. It is over ‎50 years old and has an enviable reputation throughout
the country and beyond, rated Outstanding across all performance standards in
both our local Government Agency inspection (ADEK) and that of British Schools
Overseas (BSO). In ‎2021 we were awarded Best School for Post-‎16 Education in
the Schools Compared, Top School Awards for the second time in a row and Best
School for Art and Creative Studio work. We are also the first school outside
of the UK to receive the Carnegie Gold Award for Mental Health.
The candidate will be a UK qualified teacher with a degree in Design and
Technology and a PGCE qualification. The candidate should possess relevant
subject teaching experience, with the ability to teach Product Design up to
GCSE and A Level.
