About the Role:
Responsible for providing excellent customer service with by assisting
customers and helping them get what they want.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing responsive, exceptional service to deli counter customers by answering questions, making recommendations, providing samples, responding to requests, recommending, slicing, weighing, packaging, and pricing meats and cheeses.
* Display the product as per the first in first out principle and ensure damaged or expired products are removed from the display area.
* Ensure all price tags are accurate, updated, clean and easily visible along with the production and expiry date.
* Ensuring that work areas are ready to service customers by cleaning surfaces, equipment, and floors, removing trash, and confirming that tools are in working order.
* Participate in inventory and stock takes as and when required.
* Maintain excellent standard of self-hygiene including proper and clean uniform / appearance.
Required skills & Qualifications:
* Experience as a food server or waitress will be preferred.
* At least intermediate or Graduate qualified
* Must be proficient to communicate in English
* Flexible and hardworking
