Global Forwarding Freight - United Arab Emirates has an opening for a Land
Freight Intern* where you will process road freight shipment. Join us

In this Land Freight Intern position
*
You will arrange bookings based on customer requirements with various
nominated third parties to ensure customer needs are met.
* You will process customer and customs documentation within a required timeframe in accordance with third party and local requirements i.e. customs, trade law, carriers.
* You will co-ordinate movement of cargo within required/stipulated time frames in order to meet customer needs.
* You will prepare specific customer reports whenever required, receive, and accept transport orders from customer, and book shipment with transport on time.
* You will settle customer issues in a timely and amicable manner.
* You will register shipment on internal system on time and arrange customs clearance based on customer documentation.
* You will Follow up PODs (proof of delivery) with transporters.
* You will arrange collection / packing of customer cargo.
* You will supply carrier with transport order/instructions.
* You will send pre-alert to customer/destination offices.
* You will invoice shipment based on estimate or rate agreement.
* You will supply estimate on customer/sales request.

Now, here 's what we need from you*

• A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience/qualification


• ‎1 year working experience in Logistic industry


• Regulation knowledge of road transport


• Good communication skills - written and spoken
