Overview:
We are seeking a talented candidate to join our Smart City team as IoT
Developer. The candidate should be A software engineer who specializes in
developing Internet of Things (IoT) applications and systems to design, build,
and test IoT devices, applications, and networks that enable objects to
collect and exchange data.
This is a unique opportunity to develop exciting smart city offerings for our
customers and gain experience in the fastest growing smart city technology
field. In this role, you would need to have a strong background in software
engineering and a deep understanding of IoT technologies and protocols. You
would also need to be creative, innovative, and able to think outside the box
to design new and innovative IoT solutions that meet the evolving needs of
customers.

Responsibilities:
We are looking for an IoT architect with a deep technical knowledge, business
acumen and delivery skills for smart city project:

Design, develop, and test IoT systems, devices, and applications that meet
customer requirements.
* Creating prototypes and proof-of-concepts to demonstrate the feasibility and potential of new IoT solutions in different IoT Platforms like AWS, Software, Thingsboard etc.
* Writing end to end technical documentation for new IoT solutions and providing technical support.
* Creation of IoT PoC , Pilots using microcontroller like Raspberry Pi as a hub for IoT devices, connecting to the internet and exchanging data with cloud-based platforms and databases
* Create visualizations layer and reports to present insights collected from devices and sensors for end customers
* Working with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, product managers, and data scientists, to bring new IoT solutions to market.
* Ensuring the security and privacy of IoT data using encryption, authentication, and other security protocols.
* Staying up to date with the latest IoT technologies and trends, and continuously improving skills and knowledge.
* Understanding the specific needs and requirements of different smart city use cases such as Smart Grids, Smart Parking, Command and control center and other IoT Offerings.
* Create all the necessary technical, sales collaterals and process documentation for the new smart city service offerings to enable our sales team and support our GTM strategy
* Work with cross-functional teams to integrate IoT devices with cloud-based platforms, databases, and other software systems.
* Analyzing and assessing technology requirements, including IoT devices, sensors, cloud computing, and data analytics, to ensure the effective implementation of IoT solutions.
* Conduct research and gather information about the technology and vendor, review whitepapers, case studies, and other relevant materials.
* Try out a demo, pilot program or a free trial if available, and test the product in a real-world scenario.
Qualifications:
* A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
* Strong programming skills in languages such as C, Python, Java, and JavaScript.
* Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure, and data management technologies such as SQL and NoSQL databases.
* Experience with IoT protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, and Zigbee.
* Knowledge of IoT platforms, such as PTC , Software , Thingsboard , Kaa etc.
* Familiarity with hardware components and sensors used in IoT devices, and experience with hardware design and testing.
* Ability to optimize IoT systems for performance, security, and scalability.
* Understanding of security protocols and experience with implementing security measures in IoT systems.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* A strong interest in IoT and related technologies, and a desire to continuously learn and improve skills
