FundRock Investment Management Services ME Ltd ( "FRME") - part of the
Apex Group - is an authorised fund management business regulated by the
ADGM Financial Services Regulatory Authority ( "FSRA"). The company provides
management company services to funds (both domestic UAE and foreign) within
the regulatory framework of the Abu Dhabi Global Market. FRME provides
substance through solid Risk management, Oversight, Compliance, as well as
through the comprehensive Knowledge of its strong team. The Apex Group is a
global financial services company, and well placed to support asset managers
across borders with local market insight and global connectivity.

We are currently looking for a Risk Manager to support our growing
operations in the ADGM. The employee will report to the Senior Executive
Officer. FRME is a relatively new entity, thus the requirements of the role
will develop as the business entity grows.

Responsibilities to include:
* Full responsibility for developing and managing the Risk Management function for the FRME entity, including staffing, operational procedures and standards
* Onboarding: Fund Risk profiling, Prospectus review, operational setup, project management;
* Technical queries;
* Review of daily Risk production (market, liquidity, credit…);
* Quality review process: Risk profile annual review, regulatory reporting;
* Implementation of new regulations impacting Risk activity;
* Represent the Risk department and act as a Subject Matter Expert in Board both internally (risk Committee) and externally (Fund Board meeting);
* Assist with preparation of fund applications in accordance with applicable regulations;
* Preparation of ad-hoc Risk analysis reports to the executives;
* Monitoring/Review breach classification;
* Provide timely feedback and support to colleagues, management and auditors (internal and external)
* Actively promoting Apex Group services and engaging with clients, prospects and other stakeholders

Skills Required
* Proven experience in Market Risk;
* Degree in Finance, Engineering or Economics would be preferable ;
* Knowledge of MSCI/Riskmetrics, Bloomberg, or other Data providers is an advantage;
* Strong quantitative orientation and analytical skills;
* Knowledge of all financial instruments (vanilla, derivatives, OTC, structured products), risk analysis/models (VaR, Back-test, Stress test) and valuation models of financial products;
* Knowledge of regulations for funds and investment products;
* Capacity to analyse investment strategies and prospectus ';
* Ability to work within a team as well as on own initiative; highly organized, detail orientated and self-motivated;
* Strong communication, organisational and analytical skills.
