* Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a Canadian curriculum private school or international school setting.
* Strong knowledge and experience in student-centered learning, standards-based grading, and reporting principles, developing critical thinking skills in students, inquiry-based learning, and most importantly play-based learning.*
* Proficient in the use of technology in the classroom.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Passionate about teaching and committed to providing high-quality education to students.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
* Experience with English Language Learners is preferable

Job Description:
We are seeking dynamic and passionate Homeroom Teachers to join our Primary
School team at Maplewood Canadian International School. The successful
candidate will be responsible for teaching and developing young learners from
Kindergarten to Grade 5 in a student-centered environment that fosters a love
of learning. The ideal candidate will be experienced in standards-based
grading and reporting principles, inquiry-based learning, problem-solving,
developing critical thinking skills, and most importantly, play-based
learning.
